The Madison County Finance Office is responsible for the financial reporting of the Madison County Fiscal Court. The Department is also responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, County Business Licenses, Occupational and Net Profit collections for Madison County.
Doing Business with Madison County
If your company is doing business with Madison County or are recieving paymetn from Madison County, the Finance Office must have an up to date W9 on file.
No payment may be issued without approval of the Madison County Fiscal Court. For this reason, payments will be issued twice a month (or once a month during the month of December). All checks will be mailed to the address provided. No checks may be picked up at the Finance Office.
The County Treasurer is responsible for all financial matters of the county and manages the Finance department. The Finance department administers occupational tax collection, accounts payable, accounts receivable, county budgets, investments, capital assets, and compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
