The Madison County Finance Office is responsible for the financial reporting of the Madison County Fiscal Court. The Department is also responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, County Business Licenses, Occupational and Net Profit collections for Madison County.
The County Treasurer is responsible for all financial matters of the county and manages the Finance department. The Finance department administers occupational tax collection, accounts payable, accounts receivable, county budgets, investments, capital assets, and compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
The Finance Administrator manages the financial transactions for the Madison County Treasurer. This includes: records and distributes all payments, oversees the electric procurement policies and procedures, and collaborates with state and local government agencies on various fiscal matters.
